Aching for affection
Finding only lies
Now afraid to trust
Afraid to love
Afraid to realize

I'm not like any other
That came into your life
I'm not here to take
Or to defeat
Only to share your cry

What I ask is simple
I know it brings you pain
But try to trust
And try to hope
And learn to love again.
