It does. Knowing we're at the whim of whatever the Malnosso choose to do and not being able to do a thing about it is... well, it's a lot of things, I'm not sure there's a word to properly sum it up.

Their gifts also tend to be doubled-edged; I may have a voice, but they took my eyesight.
