If anyone actually knows what the f**k the Matrix sequels were all about, please let me know....
seems that I've sorted an insurance quote and found a car... I think £1200 for a 2002 Corsa is pretty reasonable, plus it's a good start for a run around until I can build up some NCD and the such! I'm a little annoyed that my 4 years No Claims I had on my bike accounts for NOTHING! I mean honestly nothing screams safe road user like a motorbike so surely you'd think it might help in getting your premiums down.. no matter, £750 fully comp for a new road user isn't something to be sniffed at!
On that note though I've sort of hit a sticky patch... I don't think I can afford to pay the rent and keep up payments on a motor/insurance as and when I need it :(. Options thus:
Move back home to my mum's, or even sister's place (not keen on either as living with brother (still at my mum's) is an impossible task and I think sister and brother-in-law are starting to get the family itch so I don't really want to be there either!)
OR
Possibly find somewhere cheaper in Bristol... again an impossible task given the current job front and rental prices! Plus with there being little to no electrical based jobs going down this end would it really be worth sitting around waiting for something to come along or would it be easier to up sticks and work somewhere else?
Something to think about I guess.. uprooting seems a bit extreme but when it appears to be a barren job front seems to make perfect sense!
Ah well, at least the car problem seems to be solved! Job next, living after and hopefully can squeeze a weekend away in there somewhere as well
