with all this talk of global warming everywhere i go to look for news, i'm beginning to wonder; Who actually believes (I mean believes down to the root of their being) that it is as serious as a problem as it is.

Every major study I read about being conducted, most researchers think of all possible variables except one that sticks out in my mind: the sun. Back in the '70s, scientists predicted that we were on the brink of the next Ice Age. Based upon the near record temperatures today, I think they were a little off. Funny thing is, do we know how hot the sun was back in the '70s? I found a graphic that showed the sun's intensity not nearly as strong as it is today, therefore lower average temperatures. Coincidence?

This same graphic showed the sun's level of intensity and it's a fair bit higher than it was thirty years ago.

SO i think a lot of hoopla is being made out of nothing because I have yet to see anybody (other than the sole graphic I found on some website, I'll try and find it for Josh/Jeff/Ben or anybody who cares) correlate the sun's intensity on the effect of our global climate.
