Hence the saying: If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself and not the enemy, for every victory gained you will suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Sun Tzu's Art of War
when this applied in a non-martial sense, it teaches you a lot about why things happen. For instance, school. You have to know what the course demands of you and what kind of work ethic you need of yourself to succeed above and beyond. If you only know the course, but not how much to study or what to study, you might get lucky every once in awhile, but your luck only holds out so long.
So know yourself and whatever comes in your path as you travel through this life, and you will have little to panic about.
There are just somedays that makes me wonder...
What brave new world is this...
There are sometimes when the world seems to pass you by, that's because your stuck in neutral on the middle of the highway, either get moving or somebody will rear end you and really get things moving you never wanted to have happen.
Why worry? I wonder all the time why worry? It's killing me... forget about it.
Life is strange sometimes.
The physiological systems of mammals are ridiculous. Very cool, a very well put together machine.
Airborne PT in the morning, so I actually need to accomplish something right now, rather than writing on this silly thing.
