There's an 80% chance that by tomorrow afternoon I'll have my first car, a paprika red 2002 Mercedes CL230 coupe identical to the one pictured below. I'm thrilled, but I know there's at least one person who will be shaking her head and laughing when she reads this. Since I have to save up money for all of the payments that I'll have to make while I'm in grad school next year, it's a bit of a squeeze on my normal salary, but refereeing should provide enough extra money to help make life fun.
