Ayabie Paris Live Report (1)

Jun 21, 2006 15:07

Please note that this is more like...personal memories of that whole day to be shared with my friends rather than a report on the live performance especially made for the public to read. If you don't know me, than you may get sicked of my ramblings & excessive use of smileys~ XDDDD;

This trip to see Ayabie was a very important experience for me. It was my first jrock live ever (and it's AYABIE OMFG (;O;)) and also the first time for me to plan/go on a trip abroad all by myself (just to see a live, ha (´∀`;)). The whole planning process conincided with my uni exam period, plus tons of problems kept arising unexpectedly Like...my money for Moe to buy tickets took 2 weeks to get through D:/ most hotels in Paris were apparently fully booked DX/ because we were busy with exams, we booked the Eurostar tickets to Paris late, so the price went from 25pounds to fuckin 200+!!!! WTF!!!! Lucky there was still ONE time slot on the 13th with 25pounds ticket~!!!!! (*A*;)) Those of you who know me long enough should have realized that I'm a HUGEASS worrier... (´∀`;) Therefore, I was pretty much pissing myself freakin out from the day Ayabie announced the European Tour to the day I actually travelled to Paris...(;゜Д゜)

::13th - 15th June::

Me and my friend Mindy arrived in Paris at night on 13th (because our afternoon train got delayed due to bad weather in France) and took the metro to our hotel~ (There was a drunk, stinking old man on the metro babbling aggressively then spat at my friend when he got off~ (*A*;) There are lots of weird people on the metro in France...) It was pretty late already, so after dinner at McDonald's, we went back to the hotel (to watch football XD). From the street of our hotel, you can see the Eiffel Tower clearly~ Pretty~ ★

The next day, I had arranged to meet Moe at a metro station (Pyramides) to collect the live tickets from her. I thought she would just give us the tickets and be off, but nope! XD Apparently around that station is a Japanese area~!!! (*O*) Moe took us to a fairly large Japanese bookstore~ VK magazines! (But no June Shoxx...am still searching for that issue, me want Gazette in suits... (;__;)) After that, we had lunch in a Japanese restaurant together~ She had a meeting to attend (about her interviewing Ayabie on 16th), but she called them (their answering machine XD) to delay it & ate with us~ (*O*) Moe is so cute & friendly~ It was fun to hang out with her~ ヽ(´∀`ヽ) *cuddles* But we didn't take any photo together ne... (;O;)

From 14th afternoon to 11.30pm on 15th, me and Mindy were sight-seeing around Paris non-stop~ HOLY SHIT we went to so many places, our legs were almost dead!!!! (;´д`)ゞ Literally shaky when we had to walk up/down stairs... One random thing: When we were at the Rodin Museum, a woman went around taking lots of photos of the sculptures~ Not of the whole sculptures like everyone else, but of their butts/privates, UP CLOSE... WHAT THE FUCK. The staff looked a bit concerned and were talking on their walkie talkie whilst staring at her suspiciously... XDDDD;

Anyway~ won't talk about the sight-seeing bits, coz you only want to hear about the Ayabie gig. XD

::16th Morning - Get into queue!::

Moe told me to start queuing at 12 if I want to be on the front row during the gig, so that's what I planned to do! (*^*)9 However, we were tired from 2 days of walking, so we couldn't get up early enough... (´ρ`;) We left the hotel at around 12.30 and travelled on the metro for 25mins to Blanche. I thought La Loco (the livehouse) is on the right side of Moulin Rouge, so we started walking in that direction down the road as soon as we got out of the station. But EHHH??? It was all sex shops~!!!! (((*A*;))) Even had prostitutes on the street flirting with male passerbys!!!! So we started walking back to Moulin Rouge and...EHHH? La Loco is RIGHT on its left! (*.*) How come we didn't see it???

The queue was very short at this point, maybe around 10-15 people? All the girls sat/stood on a row streching from the entrance of La Loco along its wall. We excitedly joined the queue thinking "yay we got a good position in the queue (≧∀≦)"~

We queued and queued and queued and queued for another hour or so, but no one joined the queue after us. (*A*;) Maybe we didn't need to come so early afterall... Mindy started saying how she thinks that foreign VK fans' style isn't as cool as the Japanese~ Lots of girls may wear VK-ish clothes, but their hair & makeup don't complete the look. Then she suddenly went "That looks like a Japanese guy~ He has better style~" I looked in that direction and saw some people getting off a white van parked on the side of the road. There was a pretty blonde girl~ Then I see the Japanese Mindy was talking about - someone with short hair, big sunglasses on & in casual clothes, carrying a LV bag (I think). From the style, you can definitely tell it is Japanese~ I was surprised there are Japanese coming to the live, but I told her I can't tell whether it is a boy or girl though~

:: A Japanese Boy? ::

We kept staring at that group of people (they were maybe...3-4m away) as more of them get off from the van. And then...those people look a bit familiar... (O___O) HOLY FUCKIN SHIT!!!!!! AYABIE DESU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (゜O゜;) *heartbeat quickens 1000x* The boy/girl we were gossiping about was Aoi~!!!!!! XDDDDDDD And then I saw Intetsu, Kenzo, Ryouhei and Takehito and I was like "bkdhxlkinksxhjk"!!!!! (*A*;) It was UNBELIEVABLE!!! Ayabie as normal people right in front of us! I was kinda in a daze due to shock, but Mindy (who is MUCH less of an Ayabie fangirl than me) still had some senses in her and asked me to give her the camera & started clicking away at them~ (Usually each of us bring a camera, but today I was the only one with a bag & didn't want to carry so much to a live, so we brought one camera only...SHIT!!!! (>O<;))

With their suitcases & equipment & staff, the members started walking towards and into La Loco (ie. walking across all of us queuing fangirls/boys). Intetsu looked very smart & smiled kindly. Kenzo was COOL LIKE HELL. Aoi was stylish. Takehito...I don't rememver. (´∀`;) Ryouhei without makeup does look like a normal boy~ XD; Very different to his SUPER CUTE VK image~ His outfit was similar to something he worn in his recent blog photos? The sleeveless parka~ As he walked passed, I noticed that Ryouppei is quitey...chunky~ I saw a veeeery meaty arm~ (´∀`;) The members were very low-key when they arrived. They didn't say hi or wave or anything~ They were probably very tired?
