And so it had been arranged that, in light of Brother Adam's engagement to [space reserved for when I can think of a blog name for future SIL], that there should be a meeting of the two families. This meeting occurred at the
Wharf Tavern where we (our family, not theirs) had a lovely birthday repast for Great Auntie M a few years ago. Momma D chose this establishment based on its scenic location (right on the water, people can literally pull up to the dock, tie up their boats, and pop in for a bite) and the fact that we'd had such good service and a fun time the last time we were there. All in all, it seemed like the perfect place to take non-Rhode Islanders to eat since they wanted to go to a traditionally "Rhode Island" restaurant.

Well, in the few years since we've been, obviously the staff must have changed somewhat and they're not quite as nice, the food isn't quite the same, and the service wasn't as good, but we had a good GD time anyway!

And a good time was had by all!
