Rachel Maddow is wearing a black turtleneck underneath a black blazer which is quite fetching I must say (yeah, I'm totally on that bandwagon...*dreamy sigh*), but she's in front of a dark background effectively making it appear as if her head is just floating in midair if you're not looking attentively at the screen (which I usually am when she's talking, I mean she could read the phone book and I'd sit at attention...*dreamy sigh*).
