I like rain. I enjoy a powerful storm with the lightning and the thunder and the windy wind and whatnot. I do not particularly enjoy the type of rain that we're getting right now. The type of rain that hangs around and makes the air damp and clingy and cold. The kind of rain that makes your bones ache. It started last night and hasn't really stopped since and I had such a crappy night's sleep because of it, that I'd officially like to request a do-over. I hate the damp. It's making my teeth hurt and all I want to do is crawl back into bed and sleep. Thank goodness I've gotten most of my packing done because I have absolutely no motivation this afternoon...and a headache. All I really have left is to pack my clothes and I can't do that until I've done a big laundry wash and I've been putting that off until I have no choice but to do otherwise (i.e., until I'm down to my last clean pair of underoos...which is very soon!). After that the only things I'll have left are the things I use on a daily basis and those things are just going to get tossed into a bag for easy access. Eight more days.
