Shounan Yosakoi 08 or "Guys, I'm Way Too Slow at Updating!!" T___T
I was meaning to post this two weeks ago, gaaah >_< Anyway, this is the first time in four years that I've missed Fanime Con, but it only felt weird for a little while because this Memorial Day Weekend was pretty much the same as every other: crowded venue, badass costumes, stage performances, and overpriced food!

We did a five-minute stage performance, for which we received the 鳴子大賞 (Best Naruko Award) - naruko, by the way, are the wooden clapper things that we hold. In the video I am located in the center, three people back. See if you can spot me! =D
We also did a craaaazy street performance in which we danced parade style for fifteen minutes straight with no breaks! >:O Afterwards, I was sweating and fanning myself like crazy - as you can see in my LJ icon, though the torrents of sweat aren't visible. The video for the parade is still stuck on my camera, thanks to my brand new damn 4G SD card which won't let me put the stupid video onto my computer. If anyone has experience with transferring large files (like over 1G) from SD High Capacity cards onto a PC, I would really appreciate the help and in exchange offer hotsmex cookies. Lots and lots of cookies.
For those of you who don't have facebook, here are a few photos of me in the awesome costume :3 You don't want to ask how much it cost, though, because your wallet may just cry like mine did.
My eye makeup looks freaky in this picture. O_O Aaron looks awesome, though; he's lost over 15lbs since coming to Japan.
In other news: I've been plowing through SubaSekai but, gaaaawd, my R4 card is a real battery drainer, so half the time I want to play my DS is dead. =( Also, I waste waaay too much time leveling up stupid badges that I don't even like (I think they're called "pins" in English???) just so I can master all of them.
In OTHER other news: Has anyone see the new Youtube video annotations?! Haha, total ニコニコ動画 wannabees~
