Monday morning joys

Well, here we go again! Another week at work, another week to live. Thank you God, for giving me another day to enjoy your creation and to be able to live my life as fully and complete as I can. Thanks for all the wonderful blessings you provide over my home and family. Forgive me in the times where my mind wanders towards what society thinks I should have or be, and let me truly focus on Your will for my life. I pray that you continue to give me guidance and direction in all that I do and that I am completely and fully capable of acheiving all things through you.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
Thank you for giving me such powerful words of wisdom that will keep me focused on you all day. Thank you for giving me the understanding that without you I cannot accomplish anything! I pray that you will be able to continue to bless Crystal in her personal walk with you - please bless her with the knowledge and understanding of your ways so she might truly be free from the frustrations of having to live up to a certain standard placed in her life, either by herself of through some other source. Lord, show her how awesome you are when she just lets go of her needs and gives them up to you! I am truly and completely blessed - thank you so much for what you have done and what you are continuing to do in my life.

Last night was scary. Well, I shouldn't say scary as much as intimidating. I led the song service for the first time. I definately was able to zone myself out so I wouldn't worry about the way my voice sounded throughout the worship, but I certainly was able to notice all the people looking straight at me! I'm pretty sure this was more intimidating than when I preached my first lesson in front of the congregation. Crystal said I did wonderfully; I have to take her word for it because I really felt kind of weird up there!

In other news, Tuesday evening I have a telephone interview for a Youth Minister position at the Central Church of Christ in Winter Haven, Florida. Yikes. I'm pretty nervous about it, but I know that God will lead me through all the questions the church has prepared to ask me and that if it's His will He will provide me with the opportunity down there. In my own selfish mind, it sure would be great to be living forty minutes from my parents.

I should probably wrap things up now - I've still got to make Crystal lunch before getting up and out of here for work.
