So far, so good. Although I haven't even attended class yet since I came on Friday and took a while to get settled in. I'm still unpacking, too. I sort of had to take a whole lot of time off yesterday to look for something.

Thank you for offering your help with finding Megumi, Oshitari-kun, but I found her anyway first. She was just on the stairs of the dorms, too. It must have been really dangerous for her. I suppose it was dangerous for whoever lives downstairs, too. Usually my grandmother extracts their fangs, but since she's ill and Megumi's been very weak we decided we'd wait a while, but now Baa-chan is in hospital and I didn't want to leave Megumi in my sister's tender care, so I brought her. You don't suppose there are any specific rules against infant himehabu snakes, do you?

So I talked to Akutagawa-kun and Oshitari-kun. They were both quite nice, too. Also asked some purplish guy whose name I didn't catch about the dance-banquet-thing, but I don't think I got a very conclusive answer. And talked to Ibu-chan about....well, I don't actually remember what about. Probably something to do with the dance thingy. I haven't actually spoken to anyone in real life though. Too busy sorting out the luggage I spent practically my life savings in paying excess baggage on. If I get a roommate, she's going to feel awfully cramped. I hope she won't be afraid of snakes.

So far, there's no goya here, my sister and her ridiculously long sparkly purple fingernails are far away, and nobody has mistaken me for a boy. On the other hand, no surfing, but I can probably get some swimming done and see if anybody plays volleyball and train in bujutsu. And play the sanshin, but that's really just because of Baa-chan asking me to. On the whole, not a bad place.

no goya here, megumi, no sister here either, so far so good, okinawa
