Parents suck
Well, just the idiot ones who wear stupid bluetooth ear-phone thingees a la Spock & record every teacher's conversation that the idiot has with you. I swear, I work with inner-city impoverished kids because they lack so much & then I have to deal with their idiot parents who lack a complete, functioning brain. You know, I'm here for the kid -- however, the kid does something wrong, the kid is therefore held to the disciplinary code, and supposedly, because the kid has an educational plan but nothing else, then supposedly per this parent I'm supposed to hold this kid exempt...but anything happens to his kid, and he's crying holy hell. His kid knows what she did, and she knows it was wrong, and she confessed. Thus, she deals with the consequences. But WOWEE, this parent is wack-o. He had the gall to even ask me TWICE if I'm qualified to teach his child...my response? "Highly." And yes, I repeated it so that his recording got it down exactly.
Not to mention, his recording wouldn't hold in even the People's Court of Law. I'd love for Judge Wapner to toss his crap piece of evidence -- and his own -- out of its beepity-beep.
