All right, we've done all we can do to make this house not infested. Holst is finally allowed on our couches, but still not on the bed. He's quite sad about that come mornings. We decorated for Christmas, and he wanted to chew on a few decorations, but if we say NO! a couple of times, he stays away. We're still constantly watching him. If I haven't seen him in 2 minutes, I go looking for him. This isn't only because we want to make sure he hasn't left any presents, but also because he likes to find fringes and chew on them, or the corner of our rug. We still walk him way too many times, to make sure he doesn't have an accident, but I know now that the bedroom is a safe place, he absolutely will not go potty there. We're learning lots. We know he likes squeaky toys and chewing on his rope. We're trying to not let him bite us, even though we know he is playing. He's learned his name, and "come here". He's learned "Go potty", though this is most successful when I give the directions. And he's getting another bath this weekend so he looks pretty at least at the start of our Christmas trip. He's learned that rawhide is a good thing to chew on, but he's not much of a fan of the rawhide we bought... He loves other dogs, to the point of loving them too much (good thing he's neutered!). Yeah, I'm just rambling, but I thought I'd just put out there how things are going.
