Breakfast: Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Lunch: Sandwich
Dinner: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans

Today was a beautiful day! Compared to the last two days it was a pleasant temperature. I didn't sweat much and the wind that blew was cool. Amazingly, I am actually a little bit chilly sitting here in my tent typing this journal entry.

Health-wise, I am doing okay. The wrist brace is not comfortable in the heat but I am putting up with it most of the time. I need to set it aside and let it dry out periodically. As of last night, I also have a minor shin-splint in my left leg. There is a certain way I can walk which avoids most of the pain. I'm am trying to take it a little easier to give my body time to adjust to our heal the shin-splint. Happily, my allergies are not acting up. I am pleased with the results of my allergy shots over the last few years. I forgot to bring an extra pair of contacts so I have to hope I don't have any problems with the ones that are in my eyes right now. I'm sure if I do have any problems with my contacts I can get a ride to town to purchase another pair. But, I would like to avoid that hassle.

The boys arrived today. It was cool seeing the empty fields turn into full-fledged subcamps covered with tents. The booth wasn't very busy today. Our work schedule in very lenient. We are off every other day. Around 3:00PM, I left the booth to visit our contingent. They have done a good job setting up their camp and it was good to see our kids and leaders. Sadly, the Korean troop had not arrived before I had to leave to for dinner. I will go out there to meet them tomorrow morning. Our contingent seemed a little bit tired after their long and exciting trip. I was able to get my hands on Yocona staff and contingent CSPs and was promised two sets of OA flaps from our contingent.

Tomorrow is when the Jamboree will be in full swing. I plan to find Jacen and give him a patch. I have already found Nathan and was witness to him earning the "Faithful Servant" award from the Churches of Christ for Scouting group. I also plan to hang out with the Korean contingent for a few hours.

Tonight, I expect I will get cold. It is supposed to get down to 64 degrees tonight and I didn't bring anything warm to sleep in. That is cold for the middle of the summer!
