i got the outline of NH on the back of my arm like the whole arm and a heart over manchester with a banner saying "live free or die" and people always mistake it for vermont. like why would people think of vermont before new hampshire anyways. vermont has nothing good to offer besides ben and jerrys ice cream, the band phish, and alot of weed. yeah i havent talked to you in a very long time take care of yourself.
i told my mom about this tattoo tonight and i was like "i was going to get an outline, but i thought people would think it was vermont" she laughed harder than i've ever heard her laugh before. when i told her what i actually got she said "you are so weird". it's cute though. i like it. i can write 505 1201 underneath it, and it's my number.
whoa, i can sooooo pick up dudes with that.
what? im tanked.
come to philly sometime. it sucks, but its pretty cool when you're always drunk.
true! up the NH tattoos!! this entry rules because the other day i was feeling some hardcore NH nostalgia, and decided to put on kicked in the head. it was a sad, but beautiful moment.
i went to nh for xmas and ryan dickson picked me up at the airport at 5 am (my flight was 6 hours delayed) and we listened to kicked in the head on the way to canterbury.
they ruled when they were ska. i miss being like 3 years old (yeah, three)and dancing at kith shows. long, long, looong before i ever met anyone else in nh that liked the same music. these were like, shows in hartford & burlington vermont. crazy shit man.
People from NH are wierd. I don't understand the whole obesession with the idea of being from '603.' The only thing i can compare it to is like the people who think being from texas is the greatest thing ever. But we all know texas sucks.
People in Rhode Island would think i was off my rocker if i tattooed:
'401: The Ocean State' on my arm or something. I like RI, but not that much. Its more interesting to me than a freezing state with a bunch of rocks and trees, where my highlight as a child was going to the local wallmart and counting all the people in plaid with crooked teeth. I guess you have a distorted view of the state when your summers are spent in western NH, where there is absolutely nothing to do. I don't miss NH itself, just the people i met there.
Ha, I am Irish and middle finger, USA. This country blows.
My mom's side of the family has lived in my town for like 200 years..she goes back to the mayflower. My mom went to NH after college for a job, and dragged my dad back to Rhode Island. Three years living in jafferey, Nh and my mother near shot herself. My biggest fear is ending back in my hometown just like my mom. I don't think i can get away, its like heritage. I AM this town. Its hard to get away from a small state, the ocean, the wierd things you find only at home. The fact that no one else understands a 40 minute trip is a 'day trip' to me. Only one of my friend's understands that to come home from providence, i have to drive through massachusettes.
Heh, I live in washington state, just a bit south of Seattle; Where it seems everyone gets a new tattoo or piercing every other week. ;) I only have 4 piercings and 1 tattoo myself I ment to get more tattoos, not sure what happened there. Real life I guess.
