Hokay, before I start, I will alert there being spoilers. These spoilers will be hidden to the best of my knowledge (a cut to stop it appearing on your friend pages and then putting the paragraph in white) but I will not promise that this will completely rid of all spoilers. I'd like to review without, but I'm not a very good review-er. I personally hate spoilers, so I'd like to warn everyone thinking if it was me reading it, I'd stop somewhere to stop myself from knowing.

This will be your warning. If you have not read past this sentence, I will warn you that there will be spoilers and would advise you to stay away if you do not wish to know any further.

A funny thing about Harry Potter. I have vowed to stay away from Harry Potter after the third movie came out. I didn't really like it that much, with so many things changed from it. Oh, I read the books, 'course, but that's because I believed that the book would stay true to.. whatever I believed in Harry Potter would do.

The fourth one came out, and my, what you say, worship fell. The fifth and the sixth (all read) didn't help to the cause. If anything, it was only the sixth's cliffhanger that made me want to "borrow" my sister's copy of the last book.

I don't recall seeing the fourth movie (because it's the fifth that's come out now, yeah?) and would think twice, even three times before seeing any further movies after the third.

But I'm going off-topic.

Highlight to read - THERE WILL BE SPOILERS ABOUT.
We start off with Harry at Privet Drive. Or, not really, but we get the same "waking up with Dudley and Co." chapter that seems compulsory for these books. Oh, no, if you think I'm going to rattle off all the details of the book, then don't fret, I won't do that.

But we should know that Harry's no longer safe and all, and you feel this sudden rush in everything. Which brings me about to the first point - Harry doesn't return to Hogwarts.

Why? Well, I'll let you find out the details yourselves, but it seems ol' Harry's a bit tied up with other things to do. I think the sixth hinted, maybe even explained this; I'm not going up to grab the copy of the book to check. In any case, the world's in a fraught position now, with Voldemort on the loose.

Now, there were two things Rowling said happens in this book. She says that Harry dies, (I think,) and two of his closest friends die. She's right on both accounts (why shouldn't she be, I mean, she wrote the book, right?) and it wasn't the two I expected to die. Want me to elaborate? Well, Harry dying doesn't need a lot more than what I just said, and the two that die are - * (at bottom, sorry, I just want to check you really do wish to know who died).

I also read somewhere that Malfoy and Harry shouldn't stay enemies. She even hinted that they might fight off Voldemort together. The truth is - **

I was most curious about Snape. Was there any reason for him to double-cross Dumbledore, or did he just do it to get back in Voldemort's good side? I believed the latter (I always hated the guy, dunno why), and - ***

Romance, anyone curious? There is some, though small. ****

So, hang on, with Harry dead, it means that the book is over and everyone is doomed, yeah? The end (if you read the last three pages like my sister) has Harry in it. So what's the dealio? That, I'm afraid, is something I don't wish to spoil, and have to read the book yourself.

The final book in the instalment of Harry Potter does tie up loose strings, but I don't wish to say all strings. It'd be far too hasty (there are people that pick up on the tiniest of things) on my account. Does it change my view on wanting to see the movies?

Well... if opportunity is of the right one, then I might reconsider. There are things in that book that I wouldn't mind seeing on screen.

Ah, I suppose a review is no good without a score, yeah? Well, on a scale of one to ten, with ten being the greatest and one being the worst, I'd give this a ten. Takes the cake, and then some. The ending was satisfactory, it was what everyone expected, I suppose, and wound things down just as well as it wound everything up.

-====-
I warn you now, and this will be your final one, there are revealing, huge spoilers underneath. Read it at your own discretion.

* A heck of a lot of people die in this one. And a bird. I won't say further, you should know enough. The two people that die, then, is Fred and Lupin. Both dying quite... needless deaths, in my personal opinion, but there you go. More die, although yeah, as far as people go...

/End spoiler *

** Malfoy... well, Harry helps Malfoy. I can't say for sure if Malfoy helps Harry in the end (I don't think he does) but well, Harry and Malfoy's enmity is broken.

/End spoiler **

*** Snape was working under Dumbledore. Always has been since the Potter's death, and always have been.

/End spoiler ***

**** Well, final pairings Rowling set are as thus; Ron and Hermione, and Harry and Ginny. I think the Harry and Ginny one was the one that didn't make a lot of sense to me in the end, but there you go.
