the end is in sight
Well, one final left. By noon on wednesday, I'll be free of school for the summer. I start work on the 16th, so it's not like I'm taking that much time off, but I've never been one for down time anyway. More than a week off makes me crazy if i have nothing to do. This seems contrary to my lazy nature, but maybe it's just that sitting around loses something when you don't have flurries of activity surrounding the laziness? it's a theory.
This weekend should be plenty awkward. On saturday I'm going to Detroit for my grandma's birthday. Seems reasonable, but it'll mean seeing a side of the family that I haven't seen since my grandpa's funeral, about 10 years ago. Then, drive back on sunday, so I can get ready for work on monday. Good times, no?
Before the Michigan trip, I'm going out to Dekalb for a graduation party of sorts. It should be nice to catch up with everyone out there... I feel bad because I've essentially ditched everyone that's not in law school for the last month, at least.
