backstory: meryll
meryll is definitely not a doll that needs more pics taken of her, but i figured i'd do a fluff backstory to balance out all the angsty crap i've posted so far :B
despite being one of my go-to characters when just writing random stuff, meryll is just a support character in the actual story, so her background is not very elaborate. then again, she is just a straightforward and simple person :P really she's just the type of character who's meant to be understood without too much effort, so she can add some color to the cast without adding an overabundance of detail. like jelly filling in a donut.
Meryll grew up in Llael, the second youngest of seven children in a very rich family. A hopeless tomboy, Meryll was constantly chastised by her mother for not behaving more like a lady. She received a high class education and was enrolling in a school for Arts (planning to study dance) when she was viewing a Mechanika show in Merwyn and fell in love with steamjacks. She dropped everything she was doing and moved to Cygnar when she was sixteen to sign on with the Steamworker's Union. She was later recruited by Seraph to join the Bandit crew when she was eighteen.
