weird stuff

i am heather yanni...always the third wheel, always the one that gets asked "why aren't you dating anyone", the token "single friend". Well...I went out with my friend on Saturday evening and had a really good time. I was talking with her last night and she told me that her guy friends that were there all told her I was really cute. Now here is the question I pose to you--Why didn't they speak 1 word to me the whole night? Does that make any sense? They tell my friend the next day that they thought I was cute...but they don't even drop one word to me over the course of the evening. Weird huh? I guess "cute" doesn't cutt it anymore. It was still nice to hear that someone thought I was cute. It's weird how other peoples opinions influence how we feel about ourselves.

The most important relationship we have...is the one we have with ourselves.
