Writing and stuff!
I'm thinking about taking up writing again. ot just pantomime script writing (not that there's anything wrong with that mind, and they have served me well thus far) but story writing, novel writing, fan fic writing. Pure unadulterated all consuming writing. I miss it.
A trip to a media fair 2 weeks ago started me thinking about it and last night the thought process culminated in me staying up till 2am reading some of my old stuff from the late 90's/early 200's before I let it all slide & got involved in other things. It gave me the bug back, good and proper.
I'm dying to start now, but I have a script deadline of next monday for Cinderella so I must finish that before I even contemplate branching to anything else. But I will - and I may even start posting my writings on my blog :) It would at least mean I update more frequently!!
In other news...
* We had our graduation screenings at The NFT in London last week and, amongst other TV bods, I met Indira Varma aka Susie from Torchwood!
*Jason Isaacs is coming to work tomorrow!!
*I'm now co-organising the school's masterclasses, which is quite exciting. The first one I'm working on is Michael Grade (head of ITV)who's coming in 2 weeks time to talk about Lost (for some reason!)
My job's pretty good sometimes!!
