Long time no update
I just don't seem to be able to make 'free-time' and 'access to a computer' co-incide long enough to update my LJ page! Despite having a PC and 2 lap tops in the house...
Anyway, An Inspector calls went excessively well, for those who don't know it's our second show in a new venue and we;ve more than doubled the tickets we used to sell in our old venue - so that was a good move :)
I'm now well into 'Crazy for you' week, I'm props lady :) Got to say the show seems a bit cursed so far with several accidents on tech night, one resulting in a trip to A&E, one cast members parent falling ill, and two people heavily involved in the show both losing a parent since show week began...and it's only tuesday :( Despite all that, the show seems to be going very well, everyone pulling together in difficult circumstances etc...bless 'em. I love the show, it's got fantastic songs in it, there's not one I don't like. We're a bit short on crew but the cast help out with carrying furniture on and off - not like some societies I know! ("I'm cast, I don't touch the props/set/etc"!!)
