How to make a Vidoll inspired costume for Cosplay Magazine photoshoot. You can view the original costume here. Notice that I didn't copy the exact costume especially the black patterns on the legwarmers because it's too complicated. :P
Preparing The Black Swirlie Patterns
Draw a swirlie pattern on a piece of card board and it will serve as your template design for the whole costume.
Sew it on the cloth using zig zag stitch.
This is what it looks like at the back.
Making The Coat
Pattern for the sleeves.
Add the black swirlie patterns.
Pattern of the back coat.
1st Photo: Pattern for the front coat.
2nd Photo: Pattern for the lining of the front collar.
Add the swirlie patterns.
Sew the shoulder part.
You can now attach the sleeves on the main coat.
This is what it looks like when you spread it.
Sew all the sides.
Add the collar
Almost done.
Attach the lace on the front collar
Making The Shorts
Pattern for the shorts

Decorate the pockets at the back
Side pocket
Sew the sides
Front
Back
Almost done. :D
Making The Leg Warmers
Pattern for the legwarmers.
Left Photo: Front part
Right Photo: Back part
Sew the side and add black bias tape. This is the short cut version. The original one should have rivets and shoe laces on it. Yes, I'm lazy. :P
Sew the swirlie patterns.
Add laces at the top near the garterized area.
Broken needle
