Via the ever-lovely
resurgam.
1. Keep an art journal. I intended to do that last year and made myself a very pretty one, and then I did like 4 pages in it. So I bought a new sketchbook and am determined to do it this year. I thought about tearing out the pages from the 2012 notebook and using it but I couldn't bring myself to do it because I am weird like that.
2. Learn to knit something more than rectangles. (Which reminds me: THANK YOU,
discountchiapet, for the beautiful, beautiful yarn and needles. I love the color. That was what prompted me to expand beyond scarves!)
3. Paint something big for the living room. We have lots and lots of empty wall space (so I also need to find and hang up all the pictures, but God only knows where they are...somewhere in the pit of darkness we call the garage) and one wall, in particular, needs a big ol' painting. I'm tired of the paintings we had hanging in the apartment so I'll paint a new one.
4. Keep my craft supplies ORGANIZED. Really and truly organized.
5. Finish one piece of needlework a month, either embroidery or cross-stitch.
6. Host a monthly crafty get-together. Perhaps with less wine than the last one, as very little actual crafting was done by anyone other than
miocaro.
