I LOVE BEING RIGHT!!
Y'all remember two years ago, when I went to trial out of town for a week and we ended up losing? The biggest loss we've had, by far.
WELL. This morning the 9th Court of Appeals ruled on the appeal (because of course the case was appealed) and THEY REVERSED IT. To wit:
"Accordingly, we reverse the portion of the trial court's judgement that awarded $4m to Cromwell for his breach of contract claim and redner judgment that Cromwell take nothing from Crown Ranch."
TAKE NOTHING!! That is so fucking fantastic to read. I keep reading it over and over again. Reversed and rendered! That means no new trial, that means it is OVER AND WE WIN. Which we should have done in the first place.
