The Newsroom... I really want to like you this season more than I am.

And now for my latest thoughts on the Newsroom.

You know what guys, Genoa was never going to work for me. That's the problem. It was never going to work.

It's too much threat to my favourite characters, and I don't deal well.

Because there will inevitably be spoilers )

1) The Jim/Maggie stuff hasn't actually been awful. It is not quite at Rigsby/Van Pelt levels. (Okay, it was a bit brutal in one episode, but only for half of their scenes together.) My problem with the Maggie plot at this point is independent of the Jim one. I would be perfectly fine with them being together and taking each other out of the dating pool though. It has gotten better since the last episode you watched in a lot of ways, I think. And Maggie is fabulous in one episode. (I have been going back and forth on the Maggie thing this season. They have managed to separate her storyline from Jim this season most of the time, which is something the Mentalist writers have yet to do for RSVP, so the comparison is not quite apt, though there are similarities.)

2) BELLWETHER. I CANNOT ADEQUATELY EXPLAIN MY FEELINGS. STILL. SHEEP.

That is a nice most important thing. HELLO. I miss talking to you about things too. Not that I have been particularly active on the internet lately either. Though, active-ish. Mostly I just assumed you were busy, y'know, moving across the country and stuff. VALID EXCUSE.

Anyway, I hope you have a little bit of time for fun at some point!

I am generally around. Trying to edit my hetbb fic. Reading books (or at least starting them...). Being blah about work.
