I think you really did capture that slight weirdness that's between them this season.

They *are* a bit weird this season, aren't they? I hadn't actually realized until you mentioned it, but it's so true. Huh. Interesting.

They are. Some times there's almost near intimacy between them then the next minute they seem farther apart than ever. I don't ever remember him sitting on her desk before or the episode where she wakes him up. Makes you wonder what's going on.

Oh, they're definitely getting physically closer, and really closer in a lot of ways. Then there are all the episodes where Jane goes all crazy-eyes.
