I have nothing exciting to add. Other than you meant dessert not desert, I'm sure. Why I didn't notice that the other times I've read this story, I do not know. LOL.

I have given up on dessert/desert. I always type desert. Always. Go through every story of mine where dessert is mentioned, and if it is spelt correctly, it is because someone in my reviews has pointed it out. Without fail. I know the difference. I do. I just, it never happens. I accept that each and every time I need to type dessert, it will come out desert. Such is my life.

LOL. It's okay, we all have our quirks. Like how I massacre commas. Just as long as you don't use "isle" when you mean "aisle." During my vow renewal planning, I literally wanted to jump through my computer and take a blunt instrument to every bride who talked about walking "down the isle". ARGH.
I have strange triggers.

Yeah, that, would probably bother me more. Just because that feels less like a typo type thing and more like a mistake. IDK. I guess, I can see people genuinely thinking that is how that word is spelt.

I know, sigh, which is what makes me fear for our educational system. But then text messaging and twitter has just eroded language. And that is pretty much the case in all of the English speaking world and I imagine that there's French/German/Spanish text speak too. Sigh.

Well, pretty sure that in Canada they don't teach grammar anymore, or possibly spelling. Which is handy.
