Imagine yourself in a sealed room. Perfectly cubic, twenty feet to a side. Padded walls and floor. Pure, white, diffused light from above. For the sake of argument, food, water, sleep, etc… are of no concern. You are alone in this place. Permanently.
Imagine now in this room with you a book filled with knowledge. All of it, actually. Everything you’ve ever known or ever could, pressed between the pages. Unlimited wisdom, and all you need to do is study.
