Holy crap, my birthday is two days away.

The odds makers in Vegas are tearing up the betting tickets even now, as the chances of me living to thirty one were at about a thousand to one earlier this year.

Of course, I could still get hit by a bus tomorrow, so ya never know. Don't give up hope yet, you crazy gamblers.

I fear for the bus, and look forward to your birthday.

Yes, because goodness knows buses should fear me. Yes.

Hey, Vic. How's by you?

It would, ultimately, be unsatisfactory. You have science and magic on your side.

I'm fairly well. Haven't figured out what to do, if anything, for Thanksgiving. Will probably end up cooking for the Embryon.

And a boyfriend who has plaga powers. >_>

ANYWAY. We don't do Thanksgiving here across the pond, donchaknow. So if you wish to escape the madness, this is a holiday free zone here.

Exactly. He'd stop the bus.

How are the Hands, idly? I didn't see them when we visited.

That is a great temptation. I might hide over there if the feeling of Thanks gets to be too much. I'll bring stuffing if I do.

I must preemptively predict a food fight in the Embryon household.

The Hands are okay. They're chillin' in Spain at Ramon's castle. They're much happier there. More room to run around in, not be cooped up in my flat. Ramon's actually due to go check in on 'em shortly. I'm...not avoiding them, per se, but I'm not going out of my way to say howdy, if you get me.

But, yes. You and I need to chat more anyway, we can do a girl's night or something.

I was starting to get worried about them. Quite understand wanting to avoid them, though.

...Perhaps. Not too good at girl's night. 'Something' is much more preferable.

Well, I'm not gonna paint your toenails or anything, Victoria. I'm just thinking a quiet night with things to eat and stuff to talk about.

Horrors. I just remember highschool's idea of one of those too well. Didn't have a good time of it, and it colors my recollections.

But yes, that would be nice.
