I love my job sometimes
So today was a very lazy day. I slept through my alarm and woke up at 12:45 and had to rush like hell. But I made it at like 1:02 so its all good. And then the rest of the day I proceded to do pretty much nothing! All the sanatizing was done so there wasn't much to do but help the customers and there was one like every 10 minutes, so no biggie at all. At one point, it was like 5-ish, I was sitting on the counter eating a sandwich (that i had marked-out) drinking a drink and talking to Jeremy on the phone. All the while on the clock! It was amazing! Kirk was like "omg, I wish I had a camera cause that was classic!"
I got my schedule for the next two weeks... 15 hours total! For 2 weeks!! Next week I work monday, tuesday, and wednesday all 3 or 4 hour shifts. And the week after I only work a 7.5 hour shift on friday! Can you believe that shit?! And there is some new girl, Stacey, who was supposed to start yesterday but called in sick and she has 33 hours next week and 28 the week after! Kirk's got pretty much the same schedule as me so we are gonna write a letter to Alicia. And I'm gonna let her know that if I dont start getting hours then I'm gonna have to transfer to the drive-thru that opened on tuesday.
I'm just so frustrated cause when I first called her to get my job back she was all "well we are kinda full and I dont think I could give you the hours you want." And I was like ok, then I'll go to one of the 2 new stores opening, no big deal. But then she calls me back practically begging me to come back saying they are desperate for help and that she could totally give me like 25 hours a week. And I stupidly believed her!! Alicia was never the greatest manager to begin with but now that her and Zack are getting married she is getting worse and worse the closer the wedding gets. It's pretty damn shitty.
But then I guess I cant complain too much, it's not like it's life or death, I dont have any bills or anything so I dont really NEED hours. It would just be nice to have something to do and to make some money. But whatevs. I'm glad it's not like Seattle at least. Working 5 days and 35 hours a week and that still not being anywhere near enough money.
Ok well I guess I'm going to see Disturbia with my mom and sister. I'm sure I'll be writing again later :D
