I am sorry for the crazies.

Yesterday was Aaralyn's two month birthday. If that's a birthday. Two months old! I really wanted to give her a cupcake with a candle but I didn't think that that would be a good thing. And there's really no way to gussy up formula to make it more appealing, at least not to my knowledge, so instead I just used it as an excuse to get her all dolled ( Read more... )

Two months old. I can't believe it. I love those fancy tiny adorable little dresses. I plan on dressing her in those until she gets old enough to where she starts saying NONONO and shrugs them off and maybe decides she doesn't want to wear them anymore because they're too girly for her but I won't care by that point as long as we got this time for her to wear them now. You have people talking about when she's a teenager? When I talk to people they just oooh and awww over her being a newborn! Oh dear god. No wonder you're so protective of her.

Hm. I kind of thought the same thing that Joey did so now I can't think of anything. :( I had never heard of that trick before but it's very clever. People can always take one thing and see two sides of it. I think in some ways I think that keeps things quite interesting in society because if you didn't believe in it before you might be able to after hearing another point of view. Sharing of ideas and opinions. Sometimes people just get too stuck in their own stupidity and stubbornness to see any other sides. And now I'm going off on a tangent that probably has nothing to do with what you were talking about. Oops. :-x

I think quite possibly it could just be the feeling you get while you're there in those woods that lets you know it's ancient. There's the presence of something great there or having been there in the past that gives it it's peacefulness and serene qualities. I swear it feels like not only in the woods but just when you step off the plane that the whole land just draws you in and lets you breathe and just be and all those things you used to tell me before I even visited were all true and then some. I feel like I've discovered so much of myself while there and I think much of it is because of being there as well as being with you.

Oh god, I can't imagine when she's a toddler. I bet "No" will be 99% of her vocabulary. And yes :( I get teased lots. It's okay though :D

Well the tree falling thing is more along the lines of things existing because of witness. And the heat/cold example was probably more along the lines of values only existing because of spectrums along which they could be judged. I guess the 'we wouldn't get hungry if there wasn't food' is probably the closest to what I was actually trying to say.

And stupidity and stubbornness are perfectly applicable, it was a good tangent ;)

I miss it already. Do you think that's bad? God I miss it.
