You were WARNED >> 1.24 of your best megs, oh yes. I may halfarse my backgrounds, but damnit I'll make you spend ages downloading the thing >D

SO! As you can see by the date in the corner, I've been working on this damn thing since the beginning of the month, cos I suck like that. Took about, what, four hours to sketch? Then another two to ink, at least two hours per character to colour. 24 hours, give or take. No wonder it's taken me so long >> By far the most complicated thing I've ever drawn. Unlike all my other group pics (the Pwned pic, healers, red dress, and I think that's it) this lot was ALL drawn at once, as evidenced by the fact they're INTERACTING with each other, omfg. They're also all coloured properly, with shading and textures and shiny hair and everything, unlike every other project where I've gone 'oh HELL no' and left it in flat colour. No height chart for the background this time, because~ I dunno how tall they actually are. I'm estimating about two feet, purely so Cab Sav and Brut can't start having contests with the Own <3

I experimented with something different for the hair, as you may notice. Virtually no outlining. This is a direct result of the lineart itself. While it's fun to be all sketchy and flowy with the pen on paper, as soon as it hits the scanner, most~ of it dies. In the case of the hair, I opened it in Photoshop, stared at it for a few seconds, swore vehemently and didn't look at it for a week. Opened it again and went 'OHSHI--' and figured I'd work around it by not using the lineart at all, so there you go. I heart it. Hair sans-lineart works well, methinks =3

SO! Left to right, starting with Chardonnay. She's my editing muse. She loves scarves and dead things, and hates everything else. Always seen with a scarf covering her mouth, but it's unlikely to ever be smiling, so you're not missing much. Why yellow? Well, it suits her, don'tcha think? Happy, bouncy thing she is <3 For the that-way-inclined, if she was in GW, she'd clearly be a necro. Yes, I oh-so-roughly based most of them off of GW professions. SHUSH.

Merlot thankfully doesn't look quite as girly as he did in the sketch >> Anyway, he~ reckons he's hot stuff. Probably because he is. He's in charge of all the (usually 5am) revelations. He's always snapping with new ideas, impossible to have a conversation with because he'll dart from one idea to another with seemingly no corellation between them and expect you to follow. He'll also flirt with anything with boobs. Not a fan of clothes, because he's got kickarse tats on his chest that you can't see cos he's busy flirting with some boobs. He also hates Rosé, cos he's got claws~ and they hurt =( He'd be a rit in GW, cos they're hawt.

Sparkling Shiraz is the Silent Harmony girl. Anything to do with yraes, she's the one. As a result, she's a fan of Liquid Sunsets, which of course instantly wins over the Raykinians X) She acts sweet and innocent a lot of the time, but she's a bit of a pyromaniac at heart. She loves jewellery and is petrified of spiders =( She had a brief stint as an ele in GW, so clearly that's what she'd be.

Sparkling Brut (Brut to rhyme with brute, or foot if you prefer, both work) is being all big-brother-protector-y, which is awefully nice of him considering he's actually Shiraz's younger brother, but meh. He likes axes, fluffy things, and preferably the two things combined. He's in charge of web design, both the pretty Photoshopping bit and the ugly, hack-it-with-an-axe coding. He's built like a brick shithouse, even tho I can't bring myself to draw him that way, and hates weakness and ponces. I want to pat the fluff on his coat thing. Obviously, if he was in GW, he'd be a warrior.

Cabernet Sauvignon, (CAB-er-nay SAV-in-yon or SOV-in-yon, both work. Cab Sav for short) the captain, the pimp, the head bitch, the supreme lord and master. You've all seen her looking sexy with big impressive boots before, so that pretty much sums her up. Also loves swords, has an impressive collection that probably wouldn't work outside the physics-less world of muses. She hates interruptions and tv. She's already a warrior in GW, and that was her first incarnation when I just wanted a character in-game called Cab Sav, then she evolved into a muse =3

Grange Hermitage is having his arm pulled off by Semillon, poor thing =( I love his expression <3 Very easy-going, just a nice bloke, doesn't take anything too seriously =3 The only thing he doesn't like is wings, which is unfortunate cos he has a pair <3 He's in charge of any writings that aren't SH related (few and far between, I'll admit, but they do appear occasionally). He always wears a hat (if he takes it off, he'd have terrible hat hair, yasee. That's his reasoning), also loves cooking, especially with garlic. He wasn't based off any GW profession, and to be honest I have no idea what he'd be. Maybe an assassin, they're weedy little things.

Semillon Blanc (Pronounced SEMMY-ON, FOR GOD'S SAKE. IT'S FRENCH. 'ILL' SOUNDS LIKE A Y) is the artsy muse, mostly for drawing and sketching =3 She's also been created in GW as a mesmer, dealing with illuuuuuusions and shiny things, so that's what she loves outside the game as well, creating illusions and confusing people with them X3 She also has a thing for boots, as well as corsets and masks. You'll never see her whole face, cos it's always hidden behind a mask.

Sangiovese is there for painting, both with real paint and in Photoshop, and loves making a mess and doing things DRAMATICALLY with a BIG FLASHY CAPE and IMPRESSIVENESS. If it's worth doing, it's worth being extravagant about it. This is why she's the only other one in the pic apart from Cab Sav who seems to know what's going on--ie, posing for a picci. She's also the one primarily in charge of Rosé, the ship's cat. She hates her hair because it never cooperates, and fish for no apparent reason. Rosé is most pissed off with this, cos it means he never gets any himself =( Yes, Rosé the pink cat is a he. I needed to balance out the male/female numbers. With a pink cat. Shuddup. Clearly, Sangiovese would be a ranger in GW. Rosé would be her pet lynx, if you're really that curious.

Finally~ Pinot Noir (Pee-no nwaaaaaa. Noir is impossible to type phonetically, I hope you realise) is there for French, because writing in French is totally different to writing in English. Different mindset for writing in a second language. So yersh, he's~ an elfy-type, cos I decided I needed one. He loves stylish coats and hates messiness, so he doesn't get on too well with Sangiovese, evidently. She's not strangling him, really <3 Obviously another mesmer here, but I can have two cos they're the inspirational types in GW, so that works well =3

THE ENDE.

the cork, photoshop, semillon blanc, sparkling shiraz, merlot, rosé, sparkling brut, sangiovese, random, chardonnay, pinot noir, grange hermitage, cabernet sauvignon, muses
