Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
The Tyger, William Blake, 1794
For one of my assignments for PCC this semester at uni, I have to do a textual intervention--taking an original text, poking it a bit and turn it into something else (parody like the Wizard of Oz Futurama episode, turning a book into a film, writing a poem out as a story, whatever). My group and I were discussing what we were going to be doing, and our instructof came over to join in said discussion. She saw my sketchbook, started flicking through it, and said, "Ooh, could you draw something for your textual intervention? =DD"
So, here you go =D I've always liked that poem. So~ yersh. It's a tiger, bit of "burning bright" going in the eye, and~ stuff. I'm sure you can figure out the imagery yourself X3
