John may be many things.
However, one of those many things he happens to be is my best friend, if I may indulge the sentiment for a moment.
And virus or no virus, this is unnecessarily cruel.
It was real for him at the time, I'm sure, even if it was just the community at work.
Then again, why this surprises me from any of you is something I am yet to understand.
