I can't seem to write short fic (ever, it's ridiculous, really) but that doesn't mean I don't like reading them :)
Especially when they're short and sweet. Like this one is -- and a hurt!Danny with a caring!Steve is always a plus. (coma arousal therapy? I had no idea!)
My favorite line? “What…?” Danny asked on a breath, too lost in the emotion he found in his partner’s eyes to finish his question. He might have even forgotten what he was about to ask.
So yeah. short and sweet. thank you.
