Writing stuff!
I got an ff.net review on SLABC (Remember that one? It's almost a teenager!) - apparently, the reviewer found the fic through TV Tropes, but I can't for the life of me figure out why. It would be cool if someone had posted a (favorable) link to the fic on the site, but Google indicates that that might not be the case. Ah, well.
Anyway, as a result of the fresh feedback, I spent a good part of this evening re-reading my old HP stuff on SQ and LJ. (Remember all those acronyms? :D) I believe that I've evolved as a writer from those early fics - or else I cringed over a good part of SLABC for nothing :-p - but it was fun looking back on those days.
It was also a little sad to think about all the HP fic plans I had had (the reviewer had asked for some info on that, too) - and embarrassing to think about my unfinished multi-chapter fics! I honestly don't know if I will be able to pick up where I left off so many years later, but I feel like making a stab at some of my one-shots, for starters. I think it's time I finished my fic about Maeve's first sign of magic :) After that, we'll see. I'm still interested in trying my hand at a Viktor Krum in Durmstrang fic....

EDIT: I heard back from the reviewer, who said that someone on TV Tropes' HP forum recommended the fic to him/her. Pretty cool! :)
EDIT AGAIN: I found the recommendation and a review that said "THIS IS GOOD." I feel so validated :)
