So, our meeting was held yesterday. The agency against which I have a grievance was not brought to justice *grrrtheyareevil* but at least the meeting is over and it didn't last 7 hours like the last one.
After that I decided to treat myself by having dinner with my friends. I had to spring for the drinks, but it sure beats sitting around the condo with just the TV for company, even though that can be nice, too.
Dinner was fun, even though we couldn't seem to stop talking about Steve Irwin's death. For some reason, even drivers waiting in the Ateneo grade school parking lot were talking about it. I guess you can't help but remember it when you hear that someone got stabbed by a stingray o_O Of course, our Australian basketball player took a bit of ribbing, with his teammates asking him whether he was sad and if he was going to stick a bit of masking tape with "Crikey!" written on it to his jersey @ tomorrow's game. I don't know if he'll really do it.
I finally went to bed at about 1:30 AM today :-p Fortunately, because I now live close to the office, I'm not so terribly short on sleep. Still, I'm tired and I have a lot to do.
I can afford to take it a little easy at work today since we just had a meeting and there is nothing urgent on my plate thus far, but there's stuff on dogstar_academy that I have to attend to, and I also have beta reading to do.
Speaking of beta reading, Lorelei Lynn has a new fic, Vegas Vacation up on the Quill.
