Things to Do Today

1. Call Mummy Dearest about car.
2. Pick up laundry and recycling.
3. Pick up whatever it is I have to get from San Mig.
4. Withdraw money from ATM.
5. Have car radiator looked at @ motor pool or gas station. (The preliminary diagnosis is a simple overflow because whoever looked at the car last put too much coolant in the radiator.)
6. Pick up Mummy Dearest's bananas @ Tita Nina's (Mummy Dearest got them herself).
7. Go to Ateneo for pep rally/exhibition game.
8. Party because it's a long weekend!

Look, sff_corgi, I did it all by myself without looking at the tutorial! ^_^

In travel news, it looks like I'm gunning for a flight to Cleveland on Oct 21st. Gah, must file for vacation leave and book FAST. Also get Canadian visa.

And finally, I got the following text message from Tita Belle this morning that I would like to share with the lovely ladies on my F-list:

Lord, bless this girl so dear to me
with all her needs only you can see.
Keep her safe and keep her free,
for she is beautiful just like me!

ETA: According to Big Momma BRM's driver, it does seem to be just radiator overflow but the line to the radiator may also be clogged. The engine may need an overhaul but I can still use the car today. I just have to keep an eye on my thermostat or whatever it's called and make sure I'm not overheating.

And you know what, it's been a while since I did any real driving so it was great to see that I haven't forgotten how.
