This city is...something, isn't it. I don't see any karintou stores...maybe I can get a local baker or something to make some if I show him an example? All I know is that if I can't find my karintou, someone is losing an important body part.
I'd like to know the chemical composition of the shot that I was forced to be injected with upon arrival.

-faux-injured scoff- Ex-cuse me?! When did you go from 'pretty frau...whatever' to 'crabby old hag'? -complete with air quotes-

It is fräu-lein. -He sounded it out for her after that cute little display.- au, Come on fräulein Detective. I'm kidding. -Steps around her and leans over her shoulder.- You are much too beautiful to be a hag.

-gently almost leans back into him, looks up at him over her shoulder- No wonder you have so many fangirls. Did you learn English by reading romance novels?

He did not hesitate to wrap a pair of arms around her middle; a smile forming as Klavier drew her back into him. Looking down, that smile painted itself further across his face. "Romance novels, nein. I bet I could write an interesting romance novel though. It would be about a handsome rock star .." Leans down some more so that his lips are mere inches from her ear. His tone of voice drops to but a whisper as he continues, ".. and a beautiful, science loving, fräulein."

A tingle runs down her spine, she shivers involuntarily. Ema smiles and replies, "But it'd get terrible reviews. It's too cliché, she's too tsundere..." She shakes her head gently and continues, "And I can't imagine your twittering fans would be terribly happy."
Reply
"Cliché-- Not at all. It is much different from all the other romance stories because it's real." Smiles, giving her a gentle squeeze. "I'm sure all of them would find some manner of coping. It would just take some time."

Ema actually giggles at this. "Manner of 'coping'? Klavier, you're hilarious," she laughed, laying her head back on his chest. "Will you pay for their group therapy?" she cracked, making herself laugh again.

Klavier froze-- the prosecutor almost unsure of how to react. It was by far the strangest reaction ever from Ema. He smiled as it was not a bad thing, in fact, it was a very good thing. "Yes. I bet they will write those little stories of theirs. What do they call them, fan fictions or something." He couldn't help but laugh at that last bit, the prosecutor giving her another light squeeze. "Anything for my fans~."
Reply
"Fanfictions?" This was new. "...Are they writing stories about your personal life, Klavier?" She laughs, thinking about how wrong she was sure most of them must have been. "Ohh, Anything?" she smirks, a mischevious glint in her eyes.

"You know of these thinigs?" Klavier asked, looking down at her with a curious smile. He had just recently come across a few and boy, were they strange. "I wouldn't exactly say that, fräulein, .." He trailed off.
"Ja. Anything for the fans." Catching the glint in her eyes, Klavier grinned. "Fräulein, you wouldn't happen to be a fan, would you?"

She raised an eyebrow. "They're not that inaccurate? But I thought they all had you romancing them, and, well..." Ema looked like the cat who ate the canary which when she thought about it was a rather odd metaphor considering Klavier's hair colour.
Ema drummed her fingers on her arm, eyes rolling up as if she were thinking. "Hmm, I dunno...depends what anything is..."
