"so on friday night i went to a party with tany, hannah, and cassie, and my thought was "aww, it will be people from high school all getting together while they are home from college." well it took me about 30 seconds to realize that for most of the people there, this wasn't a time to see people they hadn't seen since graduation, this was just a weekend in ventura. just another party, just like all the other ones these people go to every weekend. and then i was reminded how pathetic the situation is, and like everyone else who came home for the weekend, i was reminded how glad i am to live somewhere other than ventura. anywhere, really."
So that was taken from Mr. Guerolla's lj, but it couldn't be more true. GRANTED, yes, my and Katie's own fault for drinking too much (but I swear, I really never get that drunk at school... my g/f Allison was freaking out bc she couldn't believe it), but wtf??? Don't put a sign on your door saying "No Highschoolers Allowed" when you're going to act so juvenile as to write on people who are passed out. I mean really. Plus what also pissed me off was the utter disrespect for other people - calling Katie's MOTHER??? She's fricking 19 and a college student, if you want people to leave, here's an idea - ASK THEM TO! Don't wake their conservative Christian mothers up at 2 am.
...K sorry, I'm still a little pissed off by the whole situation. It just sucks even more knowing that these people had gone to our parties allllll summer long and we NEVER did anything even close to that. WOW.
Besides the last 2 hours of Friday night, I had an amazing time in Ventura, and I still love it dearly :) I can't wait to come home for Christmas!!! ...Too bad these next 3 weeks of school are going to KILLLLLL me. Ugh.
