Why do these things happen to me???
So I finally have my car down here for my internship... WELL, my dad brought down the little clicky-buttony-thingy that turns on the car alarm because I live in the ghetto (why anyone would steal MY car over the Mercedes' and BMW's beats me, but whatever).
ANYWAY!!! I've had the car for like, maaaybe 2 weeks, and I've lost the clicky-buttony-thingy. So that means I can't get into my car w/o the alarm going off MASSIVELY, and even when I get in, it won't start b/c its that type of alarm system... Yeah, I'm a genius. So yesterday I was on the phone for like, 2 hours talking to the dealership to find out how to fix the problem and see if there was any special button I could push to disable the alarm.
WELL, the guy tells me no, the only way to fix the prob is to have my car TOWED to the dealership where they'd fix the problem. UGH. Well, THAT wasn't going to happen so I called again and started crying and then they told me (more or less) that sucks, call a mobile electrician and have him come out to help me. Number 1, none of the local technicians could speak English very well (double UGH), and then when we finally would reach a understanding it was always, "no, we don't travel to do work - bring the car in!" WELL I CAN'T BECAUSE I LOST THE CLICKY-BUTTONY-THINGY!!!!
Alrighty, finally I call AAA, and I schedule a tow truck to come at 7 am because, oh yeah - I'm parked on the street and the street cleaners come at 8 am and I'll get a fatty ticket if I don't move in time! By this time I'm almost freaking out because I'm super stressed, late to Tri-Delt, and I'm just aggravated.... So I stayed up late studying for my midterm today, then woke up at 6.30 to go meet the guy, only to discover....
THERE WAS A FREAKING BUTTON TO PUSH TO TURN THE ALARM OFF!!!!! Pretty much, I'm in love with AAA and the man who helped me (I gave him the biggest hug of my life), but wtf - I hate dealerships! If they had told me that in the frickin' first place my life would have been amazing yesterday instead of pissy and aggravated. I mean, I GUESS I could not lose my keys... But why blame myself when I can blame other people instead? Yeah, that's what I thought.
So yes, there it is - Blonde Kelly is back in full action.
