Take this quiz and tell me what your love language is:
http://www.greaterquest.com/LoveLanguages.asp I took it 3 times. I picture the following 3 people and got 3 VERY different results:
1 - My dad
2 - Olin
3 - My first love - Jeffrey James Castle Bryant from Kailua, HI
It was interesting how my "love language" changed based on the personality of the person I wanted to feel close to at the time. Some of the questions I just laughed at when thinking of the particular person I was thinking of when taking the quiz. For instance, all the questions about giving gifts, that's not like Olin. He doesn't give me flowers, or cards, or jewelry (obviously), doesn't make dinner reservations. He will take me home at lunch and cook me Indian food. That's Olin. Then you had Jeff. He didn't have a lot of words of affirmation. He yelled at me a lot and called me a Bitch sometimes, so when I was reading the questions about words of affirmation I just chuckled, like Yeah, right, like I ever got those from you... And with my dad, I don't want him touching, hugging, kissing me, so my personal touch score was zero when I took it with him in mind. It doesn't really make sense. Isn't is supposed to be MY love language, and not the love language of the people I'm close with? Maybe I'll take it with my friend Aurora in mind and see what I get. The overall thread that I noticed was that my HIGHEST score was USUALLY quality time and my LOWEST score was USUALLY physical touch. Roomie, you can attest to both of these, can't you? Remember the "go away, don't touch me, leave me alone" and then as soon as you ignore me I jump in your lap? I just want your attention, not the physical touch. I'm weird that way. I'm claustrophobic, so don't crowd me, don't pursue me or I'll run away. But ignore me and I'll run after you. What is that?
