(no subject)
so i have just come back from a medical requested by harold holt... its weird that they required one... but i guess they want to make sure that i was fully fit for the positions... my only concern is that i had to tell them ive had surgery (which i had only told them i had surgery on my foot and needed surgery in the interview, mainly because they reali didnt ask about it)... and that my ankle is a work cover case... i reali hope this doesnt go against me... fingers crossed i guess.. my refernces both told me that they gave me a good report... i gave harold holt 3 references... when opal (one of the people that interviewed me) told me he didnt call one because they were after 3 references from different employers... i thought to myself... what more could i give... ive only been at telstra dome for 6months and when i was at brunswick i did 1 7 hour shift and never got paid, this was back in so its long gone , i doubt they would give me a reference. i can see this from opal's point of view but seeing as though i was a trusted employee and kensington who stayed for 3.5years, and would still be there today if it wasnt for the staff.. i learnt heaps at kensington, and seeing as though i was there for a long period of time... 2nd longest employed the number 1 being this guy who is 27 and has a full time job and only works when he wants, only to obtain the free gym membership at other ymca's. and this being my only job for this amount of time, i think it is resonable to my reason's of given 3 of my references from kensington, one of them who doesnt work there anymore... so im puzzled... like i said before fingers crossed
my internet broke last nite... soo not happy.... the modem is fulty AGAIN, this is the 3rd one ive had... the guy at bigpond tryed to tell me that it was my fult... coz i had too many connections at the powerpoint... there is only one power point in my bedroom... how else did he want me to connect everything... everyone would be in the same position and they i asure you would not have this much trouble... its soo annoying because i am paying $60 a month to have unlimited... so once again i live at the library for the net... thing that annoys me is that all my assignments and lecture notes have to be downloaded off the net... meaning i cannot post assignments online nor research at home... (i like it at home because u can have a break, have something to eat while u think about how to contine... AAAHHHH
so i have found someone to come with me to pyramid rock festival... reuben... remember this guy... he was the guy i met on a sleepy jacskon forum and he bought my spare shins ticket off me... as far as i no it is just me and him going... because i am buying him a ticket, im hoping he will drive... his 21 n off his p's meaning he can have some sort of blood alcohol reading hence he can drink over new yrs... where i could not...
this could be the start of something special...
i also asked if he liked art of fighting, a band from melbourne, he said he wasnt familiar of their stuff so he went out and bought thier cd and his going to their concert by themselves even if i dont go... i want to go, depends on my surgery date and i am willing to go on crutches... just get mum to pick me up afterwards, or reuben can drive me home... mayb??
