Lake Padden is finally ready for swimming and here I am, getting ready to leave town. Yesterday afternoon was marvelous times... with weird boys who were putting up a rope swing (awesome) and trying to remove branches from a huge tree (sad alert)... and us making it all the way around the short loop and not being frozen upon exit of the lake. Every old man in a wetsuit thinks you're hardcore when you can outswim him without neoprene.
It's been a good few weeks. I'm finally returning to my ability to function with very little sleep and travel time for the summer starts... TOMORROW... with a venture to the east coast.
I believe that is all for now. Off to thai food with the girls and working at the pool.
