Salad of Peppered Lamb Loin and Mascarpone with Orange Balsamic Dressing and Soured Strawberry Coulis. Yes, it's a mouthful.
Pan-fried Red Snapper with Beetroot and Orange Beurre Blanc.
Creamy Potato Soup with Dried Tomato Confit.
Chicken Pie with Golden Potatoes.
I refuse to put up the pictures to our desserts. It's ugly and gives me bad memories.
This week's Malaysian cuisine class. We did appetizers.
Kerabu pucuk paku/Fern Shoots Salad. I think.
Rojak buah/Fruit salad with hot soy sauce dressing.
Epok-epok sayur/Vegetable puffs
Popia goreng/Spring rolls
Samosa
Gado-gado. It's a... IDK, salad eaten with peanut sauce. Something like a chef's salad I suppose.
I can't help but to think Malaysian food really does confuse foreigners. We eat weird stuff. Weird, uber delicious stuff.
I'm finally done with preparations for internship next semester. I requested Holiday Villa and Sunway Resort Hotel, both being nearby to my house and 2 other hotels in Shah Alam. When all fails, I'll just go to the university's hotel in Shah Alam. Hotels have this.. thing with girls wearing a headscarf/tudung/hijab. Whatever, it is but a minor setback /extreme optimism
