I am SOOO glad I didn't go out the night before otherwise I definitely would've missed out on Tribe's performance due to comatose.
Anyway, this is what the day pretty much looked like:
9:00 - Arrived at Derecks house
9:45 - Left for Shoreline Amphitheater
10:30 - Stopped at Costco to freeload off Apple chicken and spinach sausage, Chicken Bakes, and Churros
11:00 - Parking
11:15 - Arrive at RTB to get stripped of our water wahhh
11:45 - Murs
12:00 - Dead Prez
OK I'm gonna stop right there 'cuz I honestly can't remember. But amidst hte performances there were several bathroom stops (Which were surprisingly clean thank God) and beer runs. Real talk, I like Turn off the Radio and Mind Sex but I cannot get down with too much of that righteous shit. The cops may not be my favorite animals on the planet but if some shit goes down I will def be running towards them for help so u can have ur "Fuck the Police" back.
A lot of people didn't like Nas but he was actually my favorite. But then again maybe it's because he was always my answer to "Name a celebrity that embodies what u want in a man" question haha. "Make sure he a thug and intelligent too," duh hello Nasty Nas! Second fave was definitely Tribe esp. when they did Check the Rhyme. Tip is still fine.
We didn't get back to the city till roughly midnight. Stopped by El Faralito to cop some tacos and then I went home. Here's some pics!
