The school bell rang; and it was the end of class. Some students already left, and some stayed to talk about tomorrow’s party, where everyone was so excited. On one corner of the room, the vibe was far different for there was a Kim Jaejoong sighing for the nth time.
“What’s with the long face hyung?” asked Junsu as he approached his hyung who kept on sighing.
“Aish! Tell me Su, have I killed an important person in my past life to deserve something like this? Jae grunted and buried his face more on his desk and sighed again; Junsu sat beside his hyung, patted his back, and told him “Hyung! you know you can already enter the Guinness Book of Record and hold a title “A person who sighs a million times a day”, Junsu said jokingly and gained a smile from Jae, “so stop acting like an old man will you” he added and received a smack on the head in courtesy of Kim Jaejoong.
“YA! I’m not acting like an old man”, Jae pouted. He smiled at his hyung’s childishness, and sometimes wonders if he’s really younger than his Jae hyung.
“So what’s the problem? If it’s about the gift, then stop moping, we’ll just shop later before we go home, okay?” Junsu said, as he takes out a bag of cookies from his backpack, and offered some to Jae.
Jae shook his head, and then Junsu started munching his cookies. “The thing is Yunho already knows that I like him, “So..-”. Junsu chokes from the information he just heard.
“How did he-, When did he-,Who told him?, What’s his reaction?, did he accept it? Why didn’t you tell me? Why…-”Jae immediately covered Junsu’s mouth with his hand before he asked another question. He was astonished to Junsu’s reaction over the matter, that even he-himself did not react that much; thinking that he’s in that situation and not him.
“Don’t you think you’re over reacting?”, Jae said as he rolled his eyes, and removed his hand away from Junsu’s mouth.
Flashback
Lunch Break
The cafeteria was crowded as always. Everyone was busy eating their lunches and others were chatting with their friends. As usual, Jae and Yunho entered the cafeteria together, since they share most of their subjects together.
“You’re late again”, a baritone man said, as the two approached their table near the window.
“Don’t blame us, blame our ever loving professor for dismissing us late as always”, Jae muttered as he sat at his usual spot beside Changmin. Donghae handed them their lunches that they purchased earlier. “Thanks”, they said in union. The five of them started eating, and talked about Yunho’s lovelife, but Jae was feeling kinda awkward about the topic for he harbor feelings with the said person.
Jae slapped his own forehead, when he remembered that he would be having a meeting with his club at 12:30 and it is now 20seconds before 12:30, which means he only have 20secs to run. And so he excused himself, “I forgot that I have a meeting at 12:30, I’ll just see you guys after class”, he bid goodbye and left the cafeteria”. The four were amused with their hyung, who always forgets things easily.
“Where are we?”, Yoochun scratched his head; “owh! As I was saying, I think you should just forget about Seulgi and move on hyung, it’s her lost not yours.” Yoochun said trying to convince Yunho that it is not the end of the world yet.
“It’s easy for you to say that Yoochun, you’ve never been in a serious relationship for old time’s sake.” Yunho replied in dismay. “3yrs… Yoochun… 3years, we’ve been together for that long, so it’s not that easy to let go”, emphasizing the word 3yrs.
“We know that it’s hard for you to forget her hyung, but she left you with another guy, not once or twice, but trice already, so when will you start to realize that it’s enough?!”, Donghae begged him to believe them; tears were now obvious on the eyes of the taller man, he’s still having a hard time accepting the fact that the girl he used to loved and still love deceive him . Despite the argument between the three, Changmin was continuously eating.
Yoochun moved closer to Yunho and patted his back to comfort his hyung. Yunho’s exterior may seem manly but his inside was delicate, and the four of them knew it. “There’s someone out there for you hyung, just open your eyes he/she might be near you”, Changmin’s sudden statement bring confusion to Yunho, it’s like there’s a hidden message in that statement, but he just brushed it off.
“Changmin is right, Jae-hyung has been liking you for so long now, it’s just that you’re so dense that you don’t notice it”, it slipped into his mouth without him realizing it. The other two widened their eyes with Yoochun’s bluntness. It startled Yunho; he cannot believe what he just heard.
“Say what?!”, Yunho asked facing Yoochun. He probably heard it wrong. Donghae and Changmin both slapped Yoochun’s head, “Ouch! What’s that for?!”. Yoochun screamed to the two and put his hand on his head, trying to ease the pain. But he was still oblivious on what he just said.

“It’s all because of that stupid Yoochun, that I have to face this problem. How could things turn out this way?” he asked himself. It is just unfair. “How will I now salvage myself from the embarrassment Yoochun had put me into?” he thought “Come on Jae, think!think….*long pause* Aish!my brain’s not working”, as he pull his hair from annoyance.
“So that explains why Yunho hyung didn’t join us in lunch earlier”, Junsu said in understanding, breaking Jae away from his own thoughts. “So what now? What are you going to do? Now that Yunho hyung knows your real feelings?”
He sighed, “I don’t know anymore Junsu, he’s been avoiding me and I can no longer take the cold treatment from him, besides I don’t want us to end up like this”, Junsu hugged Jae, saying things that will help his hyung to stop from worrying and assuring him that everything’s gonna be fine. He really wished.
“I think I’m not going,” he said breaking the hug. Junsu throws him a questioning look. “What do you mean, you’re not going?”
“The party. I think I don’t have the courage to face him right now and it will be awkward for the both of us to see each other”
“Hyung! Don’t be ridiculous. Of course you’re going, and I won’t let you lock your self at home and cry yourself the whole day just because Yunho hyung is avoiding you.” he said as he stand. “So what if he knows? That’s not a reason for you not to attend Changmin’s party, besides we’re there hyung”
“But-“, he was cut off by Junsu’s cookies, he didn’t realize Junsu shove a cookie into his mouth. “No BUT’s for you hyung. You are COMING and that’s final”, Junsu said, he can understand Jae’s worry, but he cannot let his hyung miss the fun just because Jung Yunho knows his affection. And he’ll make sure Jae will have fun, he definitely will. He smirked but not visible to Jae’s eyes.
