Grad school is going wonderfully! I have three classes (unfortunately on three different days) and, while I can tell things will get hectic in a bit with the projects we need to do for the semester, I'm really loving all of them.
Even the 46 mile (one way!) drive to campus isn't toooo bad, though I'm going to have to look into a new car, because 20 mpg freeway with premium ain't gonna cut it.
We're basically down to a ... 1.25 income family. I quit my job at Raymond James to do this grad school full time and I work at the cross stitch shop a couple days a week. It's a hit in income, but I think we should be just fine. If we're really disciplined, we can even save a bit each month! I've been focusing on buying groceries that are on sale/special at the store(s) and building meals around those instead of just planning meals and buying whatever ingredients I'd need. Granted, I'll need to do this for a bit to compare money spent, but I really think I'm saving a chunk o' change each time I go shopping.
PS: Lays Tangy Carolina BBQ chips are AMAZING.
